"no truffle we buy truff for the truffle"
"The mild still packs in all the great flavor that makes you love Truff, it just has less heat to it. Add it to your seasoning tools or use it to wow someone that can’t handle much spice."
"irst of all, I like the temperature of the Truff Hotter sauce. It's spicier because it's made with habanero peppers. To be frank, I think they need to make a spicier version. The original version uses red chili peppers. I use the original version, but it's not my preference because it's not very spicy at all. I do like the umami flavor from the truffles. When I heard there was a mild version, milder than the original version, I was surprised. But apparently, people think the original version is too hot for them. I grew up eating chilies and jalapenos with dinner since I was very young. I guess a lot of people didn't have the same experience growing up. I originally wasn't going to try the mild version but after reading comments on the official Truff Facebook page, I decided to at least give it a chance. The first thing I learned was that the mild version has a thinner, more vinegary texture. The other versions aren't like that. The other versions put Truff hot sauce in a different category than other hot sauces I've tried at home and at restaurants. I suspect Truff made the mild version to better compete with those vinegary hot sauces that most people are accustomed to. So when trying out the mild version, I didn't compare it to the original version or the hotter version. To the extent that I did, but only to compare the umami flavor. The mild version does not appear to have the same umami flavor as the other versions, which is disappointing but I guess to be expected if it's supposed to have a broader appeal to most hot sauce fans. The vinegary aspect of the mild version shines compared to most vinegar-based hot sauces. As you can tell from the pictures I posted, the mild version isn't as runny as most vinegar-based hot sauces. It's actually thicker. Just not as thick as the original and hotter versions. So, in that respect, I prefer the mild version compared to other vinegary hot sauces that I've eaten over the years."
"The umami flavor of the mild sauce is pretty good, but I wish there was a stronger truffle flavor. Still very tasty and great. The bottle is smaller than the normal Truff products in case you missed that in the description as well. I would re-order from the website."
"Great new flavor. Rather mild, not as hot as the black or red bottles of Truff. Admittedly pretty good on steak, a fancy A1."
"It’s been a long time coming for this mild sauce. I’m happy to say it’s perfect! Just the right about of heat and can be used on everything , obviously just like the others. It’s tangy, it’s truff, it’s going on my food. The new bottle design is great, no more wasted sauce. Please use these on the rest. Two thumbs up!"
"I have to tried every hot sauce and love them all. I do enjoy this one as it has a more runny, hot sauce like consistency when cooking with. It also is more mild for those picky with heat."
"I love everything about truff. Every level of hot sauce is a perfect blend. The oils, the salt. Everything"
"This sauce is perfect. It’s just mild enough to get a hint of hot. But the flavor… omg"
